Within context

There is always an underlying criteria as to how one judges and conceptualizes the world.  Others will come along and paint a picture right beside you in an attempt to either be friendly or antagonistic...

As it relates to film, I am at a crossroads: if one wants to write about film, should one always pay attention to the context through which they were written or should we just merely attempt to dissect what is useful and worthy of thought?  Should we disregard the context and simply write what we see before our eyes?

College life teaches one to write within the context of what one has read.  Rarely is there an opportunity to embark out to sea; there is always that anchor holding one back.
